SC Picture Project / Bamberg County / Little Theatre

This former movie theater in downtown Bamberg operated at least as early as 1945. An article in BoxOffice magazine from October 13 of that year notes that “J.W. Hand reopened his Little Theater in Bamberg, S.C. It has been closed for many weeks for remodeling.”

The Art Deco building has been remodeled in recent years and is currently used as event space and is frequently used for community functions such as a storytelling festival and Chamber of Commerce gatherings.
