Low Falls Landing is located in lower Calhoun County near the upper end of Lake Marion along the Santee River. The Santee River begins just upstream at the confluence of the Congaree and Wateree Rivers. This encompasses the Cowasee Basin.
Bald cypress trees (Taxodium distichum) lend to the beauty of the water and afford ample wildlife viewing opportunities at Low Falls Landing. Also available are a marina and bait and tackle shop, operated by taxidermist Dan Daniels.
