The private area allows guests to camp and fish and even provides boat slips. A vacant building on the property has been advertised as for sale for some time.

The site is popular among visitors to Lake Marion as well as locals looking for a good fishing spot along Potato Creek.

According to photographer Chris Walsh, “This is a very nice landing and building. The building has been vacant for some time, it has ‘For Sale’ signs on it. The landing piers are used by local shore fisherman. It is a very nice place to shore fish when the weather is a bit cooler.”
