Neville School

SC PICTURE PROJECT 2 Comments

SC Picture Project / Oconee County / Neville School

Update: The Neville School was demolished in 2019.

This school building in Walhalla was known as the Neville School. Though not a Rosenwald School, it shared many of the same features as typical Rosenwald school, such as plentiful windows for maximum light and ventilation. It later became the Neville School Community Center, though the building looks to be abandoned. The large windows have been replaced by newer windows.

As of 2022, the lot the school stood on remains empty and cleared.
