Lake Oolenoy is one of two lakes located within Table Rock State Park in Pickens County. This beautiful lake spans 67 acres and delights visitors with mountains views, hiking trails, and great fishing.
The exposed rock seen in the background of the below photo is Table Rock. The Cherokee Indians believe their god used this rock as his table for great feasts. Pinnacle Lake is the other lake at the state park.
The cabin seen in the photos below serves as the Visitors Center for Table Rock State Park as well as a gift shop. Visitors can access the lake via a boat ramp. Only private boats with electric trolling motors are allowed on Lake Oolenoy. Pinnacle Lake is smaller than Lake Oolenoy but still has fantastic views, making it a popular place for those wishing to tour the lake in a rented canoe, kayak, or pedal boat.
