Meece Mill — Pickens, South Carolina
SC Picture Project | Pickens County | Meece Mill
Meece Mill, located in Pickens, was originally constructed in the 1800s and reconstructed in the early 1930s. Until around 1964, it served local residents as a processor of grits, flour, and cornmeal. Today, the building serves as a restaurant, open the third Saturday of every month, specializing in barbecue, hot dogs, and made-from-scratch baked goods. The restaurant is called Yoder’s at Meece Mills. We are actively seeking additional information to add to this entry. If you can help, please add information below. Thank you!
