SC Picture Project / Richland County / Westcott Acres

This lovely horse barn is said to be over a century old. Located at Wescott Acres in Irmo, the barn has been renovated over the years and features four large stalls and a hayloft.

Wescott Acres is owned by Laura Mitchell, a lifelong animal advocate who purchased the property in 2001. Formerly a working farm, it is now home to Mitchell’s kennel – where she can even keep pet horses! Mitchell also rescues and rehabilitates animals, and you can visit her website for pictures and descriptions of pets available for adoption.

Wescott Acres donates one-third of its profits to help homeless animals in the Midlands.

I was just wondering if you allow photographers to use the property for photo sessions.
