SC Picture Project / Saluda County / Saluda Filling Station

We don’t yet know much about this old filling station, located in Saluda along Greenwood Highway (US 178). Oftentimes these old stations served as gathering places for neighbors and, as such, were the heartbeats of their communities. We would love to be able to share the story behind this historic landmark, and we are actively seeking additional information to add to this entry. If you can help, please add information below. Thank you!
