The purpose of the South Carolina Picture Project is to celebrate the beauty of the Palmetto State while preserving some of its vanishing landscapes.
The Piedmont and Foothills of South Carolina lead to the peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains and are rich with history of the Cherokee Indians who first made this majestic area home. The breathtaking summits of places such as Table Rock and Caesar’s Head secure the state’s claim as beautiful from the mountains to the sea.
