The Briggs House is located in Greenville’s Hampton-Pinckney Historic District. It was constructed in 1905 for Vardry McBee’s granddaughter Loula and her husband, Henry Briggs, mayor of Greenville. (Vardry McBee is considered the founder of Greenville.) Extant outbuildings include a barn, carriage house, and smoke house.
