The purpose of the South Carolina Picture Project is to celebrate the beauty of the Palmetto State while preserving some of its vanishing landscapes.
Greeleyville is located in in the southwestern portion of Williamsburg County at the junction of US 521 and SC 45. Greeleyville’s town flag has a picture of the old Town Hall, dating back to the 1890s, and two arms, one black and one white, holding a tobacco leaf and a cotton bowl. These images symbolize cooperation among the people of Greeleyville and honor the town’s agricultural heritage.
