SC Picture Project / Lee County / Elliott Post Office

Information about the history of the Elliott Post Office is scarce, but it is definitely an old structure that does not appear to have had extensive renovations. Sadly, due to the 2011 US Postal Service cut-back, this small town office in Lee County was closed.

I believe that my great-grandmother Wilson, was postmistress of the Elliott, SC post office in the early 1900s. I will contact her living grandchildren and see what I can add.
